So the outside of the filter is obviously beautiful, well relative to everything else out there, but what about the inside what is so revolutionary about how the G6 filters the water? Well to start with the G6 uses a three stage filtration process, stage one is a pre filter, a fine strainer to stop the big bits clogging up the rest of the system. Next, stage two, is a chemical filter with a few options available to tackle specific chemical issues. And lastly, stage three, is a biological filter which is designed to control the spread and growth of bacteria within the aquarium.
